With a franchise history that dates back to 1981, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have set up shop in the region of “The Diamond City” since 1999, making trips to the Calder Cup Finals a total of three (3) times. Offered here, is this Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins “St. Patrick’s Day” jersey donned by Rob Schremp during the 2006-07 season on March 12th and 13th. Made by Reebok and featuring both Reebok/AHL and size “56” labels affixed to the inner collar above a sublimated four leaf clover, Reebok logo patches have been added over the reverse neck and hemline with the latter also joined by an AHL league crest as well. Decorated over the front with a special Penguins St. Patrick’s Day team crest that features embroidered details, the right breast sports a BlueCross sponsorship patch while the shoulders have had matching shamrock patches added over both of them. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Schremp’s number “44” in dual layer tackle twill numerals with the reverse numbers also featuring four leaf clovers, “Schremp” is spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Worn for just the two games, the jersey exhibits light game-wear via a stick mark over the lower front and a board burn on the right sleeve which also displays a small spot stain. Signed by Rob over the left breast with a black ink signature that displays well without issue, a Penguins LOA will accompany the piece.
