Spending his entire HOF career with the Montreal Canadiens, Elmer Lach earned five All-Star selections, with both the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies won throughout his NHL tenure. Passing in 2015, Lach’s number was officially retired by Les Canadiens in 2009 (also previously retired for Henri Richard). One of the strongest and most physically intimidating players of his era, Emile “Butch” Bouchard starred on the Montreal Canadiens blue line for fifteen seasons, with four Stanley Cup championships won. Passing in 2012, Bouchard’s #3 was retired by the Habs in 2009. Both enshrined in the HOF in 1966, we have vinyl retirement banners each individually signed. At approx 20 1/2" x 48" give or take, Lach has signed his banner in gold-coloured sharpie, with his “16” front and center along with the years he was active, 1940-1954. Bouchard has also signed in gold, with the signature a bit worn, blending into the dark background, with his #3 on proud display, along with his years active, 1941-56. Each banner shows minor wear and will be shipped rolled. LOAs from Classic Auctions will accompany each banner.
