Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023

Starting in and later relocating to Swift Current, the Lethbridge Broncos played in the WHL from 1974-75 to 1985-86, and won the President's Cup in 1982-83 as league champions. Considering the short existence of the franchise, any material is rare, and we offer a Broncos jersey worn by Earl Ingarfield Jr, most likely throughout his tenure with the club, from 1976-77 to and including 1978-79 (he only played one game in 1976-77). Originally recycled from circa 1975, the vintage durene jersey features an embroidered team crest, with "14" in tackle twill sewn to the sleeves and verso, with the 1975 Canada Games patch affixed to the right shoulder. No labeling remains, with "Ingarfield" heat pressed to the upper reverse in individual gold letters. Hammered with considerable use, there are a number of marks, burns and scrapes, with the material bunched-up in numerous areas. Team repairs are also plentiful, with examples situated on the front (10), reverse (5), shoulders (3) and sleeves (11).
