This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
Lasting for a total of seven (7) seasons of play in the ECHL, the Victoria Salmon Kings, who for most of their existence were affiliated with the Vancouver Canucks, would skate to an overall franchise record of 223-239-21-21 in 504 games played. Offered here, is this collection of two (2) Salmon Kings game-worn jerseys including one from their inaugural season of 2004-05 worn by Blue Bennefield and another from 2005-06 worn by Mike Wirll. Both made by SP and featuring brand and size labeling affixed to the inner collar, the Bennefield jersey rings in at a size “56” while the Wirll sizes out to a size “52”. Both having had SP logos embroidered over the left breast and reverse hem, patches for MeiGray and the ECHL also grace the reverse hem while a Canadian flag patch has been added over the reverse neckline of each as well. Decorated over the front of each with Salmon Kings team crests as well as Save on Foods sponsorship patches, matching alternate logo crests have been added to both shoulders of each jersey. Having had their respective numbers sewn to the sleeves and verso’s in dual layer tackle twill numerals, “Bennefield” and “Wirll” have been spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate of each. With the fight straps still present on the interior of each jersey, game-wear is exhibited over each via things such as stick marks, board burns, coloured paint transfers and pilling on the interior while the Wirll also showcases an unrepaired cut over the right shoulder. A fantastic pairing, matching MeiGray LOA’s and COR’s will accompany both garments.
