Missing out on the playoffs by a single point in both of their first two National Hockey League seasons, the 1995-96 edition of the Florida Panthers would skate to a record of 41-31-10 to make the postseason for the first time where they would make an improbable run to the Stanley Cup Finals against the Colorado Avalanche. Offered here, is this pro on-ice style jersey of Panthers captain, Brian Skrudland, that has been signed by approximately 28 members of the 1995-96 Panthers squad. A CCM made offering with brand, size "52". and Center Ice Authentic Collection labeling affixed to the inner collar, the front of the jersey is decorated with a Panthers team crest that features embroidered details throughout while the distinguished captain's "C" resides over the left breast. Accented over both shoulders with matching alternate logo crests with the logos of CCM and the NHL shield embroidered into the reverse hem, the sleeves and verso have had Skrudland's number "20" sewn to them in dual layer white-over-navy tackle twill numerals while "Skrudland" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Signed by the likes of Skrudland, Murphy, Hull, Casselman, Wooley, Dionne, Smith, Nemirovsky, Lowry, Svensson, Vanbiesbrouck, Švehla, Hough, Mellanby, Carkner and numerous others with all the autographs signed in black ink and displaying well for the most part though some appear a bit lighter and others bunched up and harder to read. Remaining in excellent condition except for a couple of blue coloured marks over the right sleeve, a couple of marks to the reverse numbers and general storage wear, also included with the lot is a full size 1993-94 Panthers stick gifted to season ticket holders that has been signed by Skrudland. Displaying Panthers graphics throughout the length of the shaft and over all sides, the stick is one of only 2000 produced as indicated near the bottom of the shaft. Signed by Skrudland with a bold black ink signature that displays without issue on the forehand side of the blade with "Brian Skrudland - Team Captain" found stamped underneath, the stick remains in good condition despite some marks/abrasions from handling and storage throughout the years and the glue holding the foil accent sticker together is mostly dried out. Hailing from his personal collection, an LOA signed by Skrudland will accompany the lot
