This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
A veteran of 881 games in the National Hockey League despite never being drafted, Brian Skrudland would suit up for the likes of the Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers, New York Rangers and Dallas Stars during the course of his career, winning Lord Stanley's mug with Montreal in 1986 and Dallas in 1999 while also being named an all-star in 1991. Offered here, from the 2005 edition of Bryan Trottier's "Miracle on Ice" charity event is this jersey worn by Skrudland that has been dual-signed by Trottier as well as his jacket from the event. Starting with the jersey, made by Kobe and tagged in the inner collar as a size "XXL", the garment, modelled after the jerseys worn by the New York Rangers is decorated with an event logo patch over the front while Trottier's number "19" decorate the sleeves and verso in red-over-white drop shadow tackle twill letters. Displaying "Trottier" is in white letters across the affixed nameplate across the top of the back, the jersey sports very little wear except for a couple of small spot stains and Trottier has signed over both the front and reverse with silver and black marker ink signatures that display well and without issue. Additionally, also included is Skrudland's jacket from the event. Made by Canada Sportswear with brand and size "XL" tagging affixed inside the collar, the red wool jacket with black and white leather accents over the sleeves, pockets and collar has been decorated with embroidered event logos over the left breast and reverse. Featuring a snap style and zipper closure, the jacket remains in excellent condition with very little signs of use while Skrudland's player pass and lanyard from the event are tucked inside the interior pocket.
