A fun collection of vintage non-sport card action for you to consider here, dating as far back as 1925 and as new as 1960 with much of the group featuring cards manufactured by the famous Topps company among others. Leading off, is a group of thirty-eight (38) cards from the 1952 Topps Look 'N See set, all in low-grade condition, the group, featuring no duplicates, is a diverse set full of famous explorers, scientists, political leaders, writers, artists, and other notable personalities of American and world history. Including notable cards of figures like Abraham Lincoln, Annie Oakley, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Cleopatra, Julius Caesar and Billy the Kid, most of the other cards depict Presidents, politicians and patriots. Next, is a group of sixty-one (61) cards from the 1952 Topps Wings release. With a full set consisting of 200 cards, each card features a color painting of an airplane or aircraft from the 1940s and early 1950s with a write up about it on the reverse. Including doubles of cards #119 and #147, all the cards present here are found to be in a low-grade state that includes flaws such as creases, corner, edge and surface wear and staining. Sticking with the transportation theme, a stack of seventy-nine (79) cards, including numerous duplicates, from the 1954 Topps World on Wheels set is also included in the collection. With a full set consisting of 160-cards, each card sports the image of a car over the front with automobiles of all types, manufacturers and countries being featured and profiled via a write up on the reverse. Mainly in a lower grade range with a few a bit better off, the last notable group in the set comes in the form of twenty-six (26) cards from the 925 Harry Horn Co Nu-Jell ''Animals and Birds" release that are again, mostly low-grade specimens with a handful a bit better off. Rounding out the expansive collection, is a group of sixty-three (63) cards from Fleer's 1960 Casper the Friendly Ghost release with twenty-seven (27) of the cards in the grade range of VG to VG-EX and the rest all low-grade offerings affected my a myriad of flaws, a bundle of thirty-four (34) cards from Topps' 1953 Tarzan's Savage Fury release that are all 3D offerings found in low-grade conditions except for one card, seven (7) 1953 Topps Tarzan & the She Devil offerings, again of a 3D variety, that are in the rang of VG to VG-EX condition and finally, seven (7) badly damaged cards from the 1948 Leaf Pirates set. Like we led with at the top, fun stuff.
