A product of the Owen Sound Attack in the Ontario Hockey League, Jonah Gadjovich would be selected 55th overall by the Vancouver Canucks at the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and make his NHL debut with the club during the 2020-21 season. A gold medalist with Canada at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship, offered here is this Utica Comets “Copper 7 Series” throwback worn by Gadjovich in Utica’s game on February 29th of the 2019-20 season. Made by CCM, both CCM/AHL and size “56” labels are affixed to the inner collar while CCM logos have been heat pressed over the reverse neckline and hem. Displaying an AHL patch over the reverse hem as well, the front of the jersey has been decorated with a throwback style Comets logo that is based off Vancouver’s “flying skate” crest of the 1990’s which features embroidered details. Accented over the right breast with a sponsorship patch, matching Utica alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder while the sleeves and verso have had Gadjovich's number “21” sewn to them in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals with “Gadjovich” spelt out across the top of the back in single layer yellow twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Having been worn for just the single contest, the jersey shows light game-wear via a couple of marks over the left sleeve and a board burn on the right. Additionally, Gadjovich has signed the “2” on the reverse with a black ink signature that displays well despite some bleeding.
