Drafted 80th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes at the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, Francis Lessard would play a total of 115 National Hockey League games over the course of his career and win a Calder Cup in 2002 as a member of the Chicago Wolves. Presented here, is this Wolves jersey worn by Lessard during the 2002-03 campaign. Made by SP with both brand and size “56” labels affixed to the inner collar, AHL league logo patches grace the reverse neckline and hem with an SP patch over the reverse hem as well. Decorated over the front with a Wolves team crest that features many embroidered details, a White Hen sponsorship patch resides over the right breast while matching alternate logo patches have been added over each shoulder. Showcasing Lessard’s number “22” over the sleeves and verso in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, “Lessard” is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting good game use, stick marks are present over the lower front and reverse as well as both sleeves while board burns are observed over the shoulders and both sleeves as well. Additionally, light pilling and rubbing is found at the front hem and at the elbows on the interior along with popped seams at the collar.
