strong rookie card roster and a nifty design has long made Topps’ 1965-66 puck effort popular among collectors, with graded high-grade specimens always high up on the list of all those looking to amass a set with the highest visual appeal and dollar value possible. Offered here, we present a pair of cards from Topps' 1965-66 set that fall into that high-grade category that have both been graded by the professionals at PSA. Paced by a copy of HOF goaltender Terry Sawchuk's card that is found at #12 in the 128-card checklist, hailing from his second season as a Maple Leaf and released the year after he won the fourth and final Vezina Trophy of his esteemed career, the card has been assessed a mark of NM-MT 8 for its effort. For the second of the two cards present in the lot, the set's final card, #128 picturing the team photo of the Boston Bruins is also included. Going on to finish the 1965-66 season in 5th place and missing the playoffs 7th straight season, the inspection of the card at PSA has earned a much better result than what the team did with there play, having been deemed worthy of a NM 7 designation. Both housed in PSA holders that remain in excellent condition, just light scratches and scuffs are present over both sides that worth mentioning for accuracy.
