Still holding sole ownership or at least a share of 59 NHL records even though it has been 24 years since he last graced the ice of the National Hockey League, Wayne Gretzky remains one of the most sought-after names in the hobby in almost every form. Offered here, we present this collection of Gretzky hockey cards and memorabilia. Headlined by complete assemblies of the Oilers 1981-82, 1982-83 and 1985-86 Red Rooster releases that include Gretzky as well as other stars such as Messier, Kurri, Coffey, Lowe and Anderson, all three (3) sets are in excellent condition and free of obscene flaws, showing just a light amount of edge and corner wear. Also including O-Pee-Chee and Topps empty wax boxes from 1986-87 to 1990-91 that total four (4), OPC examples included those from 1986-87 and 1990-91 while Topps specimens date from 1987-88 and 1988-89. Also included are the empty boxes of various 1990s releases, picturing Wayne as a member of either the Los Angeles Kings or New York Rangers via colourful box bottoms displaying the image of Wayne's card from the set, commemorative cards or simply his image as the product promo on the lid/top. To round out the trading card offerings, included is an 8" x 10" commemorative Upper Deck card recognizing Wayne's 802nd goal that is serial numbered "26815/30000" in the lower right hand corner while various other Gretzky cards totalling eight (8) are also included. For the rest of the collection, various publication from Wayne's days as an Edmonton Oiler are included as well as a copy of a 1993 Stanley Cup Finals program from June 7th, 1993, various Beckett Hockey Card Price Guides, a copy of his autobiography and a Sports Illustrated Presents tribute hardcover magazine from after Wayne hung up the skates in 1999. Lastly, various other Gretzky based items are included from his Toronto restaurant along with St. Louis Blues and Cardinals cheer cards, a Hallmark ornament of Wayne as a New York Ranger and much more.
