A veteran of over 1,000 NHL contests, Paul Ranheim was drafted by Calgary in 1984, and dressed for five different clubs throughout his career. From his third and final season in Carolina, we have a signed and photo-matched Hurricanes jersey worn by the Missouri native in 1999-00. A CCM label with “28” handwritten sits affixed to the collar near a size “56” fly tag, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with an attractive multi-coloured Hurricanes team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with alternate crests sewn to each shoulder. There is also the NHL 2000 crest and Raleigh Arena inaugural patch over the right breast, with the “3” crest over the left shoulder to honour Steve Chiasson. Ranheim has signed the reverse "2" in black marker, with the signature displaying well. Nice game-use is shown including stick marks to the lower front along with marks, burns and paint transfer to the sleeves, with 2 unrepaired holes from board burns to the right elbow along with a team repair. Getty Image #72453667 (Nov 5, 1999) has been matched to the dark mark across the "28" on the right sleeve. The Custom Crafted rubberized logo and team patch resides on the inside hem, with a COA from the Hurricanes to accompany along with a COR from MeiGray.
