Drafted 72nd overall by the New York Rangers at the 1986 NHL Entry Draft, Mark Janssens would play a total of 711 National Hockey League games over the course of his career for clubs such as New York (Rangers), Minnesota, Hartford, Anaheim, New York (Islanders), Phoenix and Chicago. Offered here, is this Chicago Blackhawks third jersey worn by Janssens during the 1999-2000 NHL season. Made by Pro Player, brand tagging displaying a "Center Ice Authentic Collection" moniker as well as a handwritten black "1" to denote "Set 1" is affixed to the inner collar along with a fly tag that displays a size "58" designation. Having had the logos of both the NHL shield and Pro Player embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the jersey is decorated with a classic and familiar Indian head Blackhawks team crest that features chain-stitched details throughout while the "NHL2000" patch worn by teams throughout the season has been added over the right breast. With Chicago's chain-stitched tomahawk alternate logo patches present over both shoulders, the sleeves and verso of the garment have had Janssens' number "20" sewn to them in dual layer white-over-red tackle twill numerals while "Janssens" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the back. Exhibiting a price tag style tagging sticker on the interior affixed inside the outline of the "2" on the reverse, the jersey exhibits just light wear via a few board burns over both sleeves and a small team repair near the left cuff while a light stick mark is present through the "0" on the reverse and some stains are observed over the lower front.
