A product of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers who led the team in points during his senior season of 1993-94, Jeff Neilsen, drafted 69th overall by the New York Rangers in 1990, would go on to an NHL career that saw him suit up in 252 career games split between New York, Anaheim and Minnesota. Offered here, is this Mighty Ducks jersey worn by Neilsen during the 1999-2000 season. Made by Pro Player with both brand/Center Ice and size “54” labeling affixed to the inner collar, both the Pro Player and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with an iconic Mighty Ducks team crest that displays with wear around the edges of the embroidered details, the NHL2000 patch has been added over the right collar bone with matching alternate logo crests residing over each shoulder. Having been accented over the sleeves and verso with Neilsen’s number “19” in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals, “Neilsen” is spelt out in single layer eggplant twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Displaying a “Mighty Ducks of Anaheim Game Uniform 1999-2000 Set 1” team stamp inside the reverse hem and accompanied by a matching Mighty Ducks LOA, the jersey exhibits good game wear via numerous board burns, team repairs and stick marks over both sleeves with unrepaired holes over the right sleeve as well. Displaying additional wear through other light stick marks over the lower front, reverse and right shoulder, board burns are found at the right shoulder as well with pilling present throughout the interior.
