Standing alone atop the hockey world by having won the most Stanley Cups in the history of the famous trophy, the Montreal Canadiens have laid claim to the crown a total of 24 times in their storied 114-year lifespan thus far. Sure to pique the interest of any Canadiens enthusiast or autograph collector, offered here is this collection of Montreal Canadiens signed publications, postcards and photos that totals out to twenty-one (21) pieces and includes the likes of deceased HOFers such as Maurice & Henri Richard, Geoffrion, Lach, Lafleur, Reardon, Bouchard and Olmstead. Starting with the vintage publications, including an October 19th, 1967 Forum game program from a contest against the Maple Leafs that is signed over the cover by Claude Raymond of the Montreal Expos and a 1972-73 Los Angeles Kings program from a game on November 11th, 1972 that is vintage signed over the cover by the likes of Savard, Lemaire, Richard, Mahovlich, Laperriere and Houle on the front cover plus one other on the now detached inside lineup page, both remain in okay condition with the earlier example showing heavier wear to the covers and pages while the 1972-73 book shows expected wear from handling and age. All the autographs remain legible and are in good condition, having been done in ballpoint pen. Other vintage signed publications include those autographed by Guy Lafleur ("Guy Lafleur" book signed in blue marker over the cover and remaining in good condition), Henri Richard (April 2nd 1973 copy of Sports Illustrated - residential copy - signed in blue marker over the cover and remaining in good condition), Yvan Cournoyer (November 1967 of Sportorama - newsstand copy - signed in black marker over the cover and remaining in good condition), Butch Bouchard (March 1959 copy of Hockey Blueline - newsstand copy - signed in blue marker over the cover and remaining in good condition) and Maurice Richard (October 1957 copy of Hockey Pictorial - residential copy - signed in black marker over the cover and remaining in good condition). For the rest of the lot, included are vintage Molson postcards of Maurice Richard (x3 - light wear - all three autographs in blue marker with one lighter than the other two), a series 2 Bee Hive of Elmer Lach (G to G+ condition, autograph in blue ballpoint pen and displaying well) and vintage singed postcards of H. Richard, Olmstead, Geoffrion, Talbot, St-Laurent and Hodge with all in blue ballpoint pen and displaying well except for the Hodge which in pencil and displaying well. Finally, to conclude the lot are vintage signed Quaker Oats photos of Kenny Reardon and Butch Bouchard that both display autographs done in fountain pen that display without issue despite some light running/smudging.
