Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
First representing his nation famously as the talk of the tournament at the World Juniors in 1990, Eric Lindros also suited up for Team Canada throughout his HOF career, including at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. The Big E would score 5 points in just 6 games at the tournament, tying Joe Nieuwendyk for team scoring leader. We have a signed stick used by the superstar at the 1998 Winter Olympics. A Bauer Supreme 3030 model, “E Lindros” is stamped to the shaft, with the original white tape remaining in place over the blade and handle. Exhibiting great game-use, there is chipping to the top edge of the blade and tears to the blade tape, as well as wear to the underside. There is also tape residue to a few areas of the shaft from the stick being bundled together with others. Lindros has signed the blade in silver adding "HOF 16" and "98 Olympics" (the signature and inscriptions are more modern). Hailing from Eric Lindros' personal collection, his signed LOA will accompany.
