Drafted 8th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Sean Couturier has gone to play over 700 National Hockey League games in his career, all in the "City of Brotherly Love" as a member of the Flyers where he serves as one of the team's alternate captain's. a President's Cup champion with Drummondville of the QMJHL in 2009 and routinely suiting up for his home country of Canada during his career, offered here is this lot of Couturier memorabilia. First, we have a stick used by Couturier as a member of the Voltigeurs circa 2010. A CCM U+ Crazy Lite model with "S. Couturier" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of white over the handle/knob and blade with the tape over the upper shaft displaying a handwritten "7" in black marker (Sean's number in junior) and a handwritten "18" on the reverse in matching black ink. Exhibiting heavy game-use, marks and abrasions are seen throughout the shaft, lower shaft and blade with some puck marks and tears over the blade tape observed as well. Additionally, a small crack/break is present at the toe and Sean has signed over the forehand side of the blade with a silver ink signature that displays light from age. Next, we have a QMJHL Voltigeurs jersey that also also been signed by Sean. A Reebok made size "M" garment that is decorated with a Voltigeurs team crest over the front, the sleeve and verso have been accented with Couturier's number "7" while "Couturier" is spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate on the reverse. In overall good condition with a couple of spot stains observed throughout and some damage to the sleeve numbers/shoulders from the frame it was once housed in, Sean has signed over the reverse number and below the collar with black ink signatures that display well despite some bleeding. Also including a group of six (6) Couturier hockey cards from both his junior and NHL career that includes autographed and game used examples, all show varying degrees of wear with the one autographed card from Upper Deck's 2015-16 Trilogy release displaying with a sticky residue over the front and the autograph heavily faded. Lastly, to round out the lot are two hockey pucks signed by Couturier, one with a Flyers logo and the other with a Voltigeurs crest. Both official game pucks, Sean has signed over the front of each with silver ink autographs that display well despite light wear. Of note, the Voltigeurs puck is signed over both sides with one of the autographs in a more worn state. Both pucks show handling wear, heaviest on the Voltigeurs example.
