Appearing for 6 different NHL clubs during his career, Todd Bertuzzi also represented Canada at the World Championships and Olympic Games, with NHL All-Star Game appearances made in both 2003 and 2004. We present this photo-matched vintage style Canucks jersey worn by Bertuzzi during the 2003-04 season, specifically in the Feb 28, 2004 match vs St Louis. Made by CCM and featuring a “58” size tag affixed to the inner collar, a CCM logo patch has been sewn over the rear hem alongside an embroidered NHL shield emblem. Modeled after the jerseys Vancouver wore during the 1972-73 season, the front is decorated with a classic “stick” logo crest while the NHL Vintage Series program patch has been added over the right breast. Accented with "44” in single layer white tackle twill numerals, “Bertuzzi” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed nameplate. "44" and "Bertuzzi" are also handwritten to the fight strap. Worn for just a single match, game-wear is light, with a few small burn marks to each sleeve, with a small slit near the left elbow. Getty Image #3112416 (Feb 28, 2004) has been matched to threading particularities to the "44" on the right sleeve. A MeiGray tag numbered “B09763” is sewn inside the reverse hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Blue Vintage Set 2 - Used 2/28/04 vs St Louis” specimen. Accompanied by a team LOA, a photo of Bertuzzi from the match is also included.
