Dubbed the “Over The Hill Gang” due to their average age being 31 years, the oldest group ever to win the Stanley Cup, the 1966-67 Toronto Maple Leafs defeated both the Chicago Black Hawks and Montreal Canadiens to claim the franchise’s 13th Stanley Cup championship during Canada’s 100th year. Offered here, is this Toronto Maple Leafs 1967 Stanley Cup champions team photograph from their 40th Anniversary dinner that has been signed by twenty-two (22) members of that cup winning squad. Framed to full dimensions of 28” x 28” with the photograph itself measuring out to 16” x 20”, the piece has been matted under a thick blue coloured matte and is housed in a simple black frame with no glass that shows some light wear to the edges and corners that is worth noting for accuracy. A beautiful black and white image that is serial numbered “534/967” at the bottom right corner, the cut signatures of deceased HOFers Tim Horton, George Armstrong and Terry Sawchuk are found placed at the bottom of the piece while nineteen (19) have signed over the image with blue marker signatures that display well despite some fading from age. Showcasing the autographs of Keon, Bower, Pronovost, Kelly, Mahovlich, Stanley, Pulford, Ellis, Baun, Stemkowski, Hillman, Pappin and Shack among the notables, information pertaining to the reunion that took place on March 22nd, 2007 is found at the bottom of the image. A JSA sticker numbered “X16856” has been affixed to the bottom right corner of the piece and is accompanied by a matching JSA LOA.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occur during shipping.
