Drafted 117th overall by the Montreal Canadiens at the 1985 NHL Entry Draft, Donald Dufresne would skate in a total of 268 National Hockey League games over the course of his career with Montreal, Tampa Bay, Los Angeles, St. Louis and Edmonton, winning a Stanley Cup with the Habs in 1993. Offered here, we present this Montreal Canadiens jersey that was worn by Dufresne during the 1991-92 campaign as well as the 1992-93 pre-season. Made by CCM, both size "54" and Maska Ultrafil labels are affixed to the inner collar while CCM and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with the famed "CH" crest of Les Canadiens in layered tackle twill, the 1993 NHL All-Star Game event patch has been added over an extra piece of material and then affixed over top of the 1991-92 season's NHL 75th anniversary patch that resides over the right breast. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Dufresne's number "34" in dual layer blue-over-red tackle twill numerals, "Dufresne" is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting overall light-to-moderate game-wear, stick marks are seen over the lower front, both sleeves and the left shoulder while red coloured board paint transfers are present at the left side on the reverse, reverse hem and left elbow. Additionally, a small amount of light pilling is observed on the interior. We should note that Dufresne only played 3 regular season games with the Habs in 1991-92.
