A Stanley Cup champion with the Colorado Avalanche in 1996, Alexei Gusarov spent parts of six seasons with the club. The Leningrad native is also a member of the Triple Gold Club, having won the IIHF World Championship, the Stanley Cup, and an Olympic gold medal. This Avalanche jersey was worn by Gusarov during the 1999 Stanley Cup playoffs. A Starter Center-Ice label (with “III” handwritten) along with a “56R-8-21” swatch sit affixed to the collar, with NHL and Starter crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a somewhat embossed Avs team crest with embroidered detailing, the mesh V-neck has been accented with textured and layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate patches over each shoulder. There is also the “CHS” Columbine High School memorial patch over the upper left sleeve to honour the victims of the 1999 shooting. Worn for three playoff contests, wear is light, with a few burn marks to the sleeves. A team LOA will accompany, along with a MeiGray tag and COR.
