The Beanpot MVP during his time at Boston University, Tom Poti was drafted by Edmonton in 1996 and dressed for four different NHL teams throughout his career including both New York clubs. Poti also represented the US internationally at the World Juniors and Winter Olympics. This photo-matched Oilers jersey was worn by the Massachusetts native in 1999-00. Elite, Pro Player and sizing labels (58) are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Pro Player crests on the reverse hem. Styled with the familiar tear-drop Oilers team crest, this deep navy-blue V-neck jersey has been accented with tri-layer tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching oil rig patches over each shoulder. The NHL 2000 patch resides over the right breast. Good game-use is shown on the "Blue Set 1" jersey, with a stick mark to the team crest and additional marks to the lower band, with burn marks and team repairs (10) covering the left sleeve. Getty Image #72316183 (Nov 9, 1999) has been matched to the mark on the top white band to the lower left of the team crest, with the two thread bumps at the bottom of the oil drop within the crest visible. An LOA from the Oilers will accompany.
