The 6th overall pick of the 1996 NHL Draft and a product of the Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey League, Boyd Devereaux would play in 627 National Hockey League games over the course of his career between Edmonton, Detroit, Phoenix and Toronto, winning a Stanley Cup with the Red Wings in 2002. Offered here, is this Edmonton jersey worn by Devereaux during his final season with the Oilers in 1999-2000. Made by Pro Player, brand/Centering, size “58” and Elite Sportswear labels are all affixed to the inner collar while the Pro Player and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a familiar Oilers team crest in layered tackle twill, the NHL 2000 patch has been added over the right breast while matching alternate logo patches have been added to each shoulder. Having had Devereaux's number “19” sewn to both sleeves and the verso in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals, “Devereaux” has been spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Showing good game use via numerous stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves, board burns are present over both sleeves as well while fabric pulls are observed near the front hem. Sporting an Oilers team tag denoting the piece as a “Set #1 99/00” sewn inside the rear hem, a matching Oilers LOA will accompany the piece.
