Chosen to participate in the NHL All-Star Game an amazing 19 times, including an unbroken string of appearances from 1980 to 1996, Ray Bourque wore this signed Eastern Conference jersey at the 1997 All-Star Game in San Jose, won by the Eastern Conference 11-7. CCM and Center Ice labeling along with a size “54” fly tag sits along the collar. Featuring a layered tackle twill NHL Eastern Conference team crest that is partially embroidered, "77" is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with a Boston Bruins crest to the left shoulder, and 1997 All-Star Game crest to the right. There is also a 1997 All-Star Game stamp to the fight strap along with a serial number, and it indicates that this was one of five jerseys worn for either the official photo shoot, pre-game warm-up or in one of the three periods. Worn for just a single contest, game-use is light, with a few small stains visible including over the lower front. Bourque has signed the reverse of the team crest in black marker, adding "Game Worn". From Ray Bourque's personal collection, his signed LOA will accompany.
