This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/28/2023
One of the NHL's most famous buildings, the New York Rangers played the first game at Madison Square Garden in 1925, and concluded the venue's tenure with the Feb 11, 1968 match vs Detroit. This final game at MSG program has been signed by 16 former and then-current Rangers, including 7 HOF members. Fully intact including the rosters, a number of pages have been signed in ballpoint, with most featuring the respective player signing near his image. Signers include HOFers Emile Francis, Chuck Rayner, Bill Gadsby, Andy Bathgate, Harry Howell, Ed Giacomin and Edgar Laprade, along with Bob Nevin, Dutch Hiller, Lorne Carr (3), Lou Fontinato, Mac Colville, Alex Shibicky, Vic Hadfield, Dean Prentice and Bob Chrystal. The signatures display well, with light wear to the program itself. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
