The 165th overall pick of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft by the Winnipeg Jets, Tom Draper would tend the goal in a total of 52 National Hockey League games split between the Jets, Sabres and Islanders. The winner of the Hap Emms Memorial Award during the 1998-99 AHL with teammate Martin Biron, offered here is this IHL Salt Lake Eagles jersey worn by Draper during the 1993-94 season. An all-mesh construction garment made by Bauer, ProWear and size “56G” tags are affixed to the inner collar both the Bauer and IHL logos have been embroidered over the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Golden Eagles team crest that features both textured and embroidered details, the jersey displays with a sublimated feather design at the lower front and each cuff. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Draper’s number “30”, “Draper” is spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer white twill letters. Of note, this jersey is a 1st set offering based on the fact that it has the black mesh nameplate and two-coloured numbers, 2nd set offerings had a white mesh nameplate and three-colour numbers. Exhibiting game-wear via a small number of puck marks over the front and left sleeve, the right sleeve shows a bit of red post paint transfer at the elbow with pilling at the right hip also being observed. Additionally, inserts to widen the jersey have been added to each side.
