Finishing the regular season in 2nd place within the Pacific Division, the Edmonton Oilers put up 50 wins during the year and became the first team since the 1995-96 season to have three players surpass the 100-point plateau, with Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins all achieving the feat. Offered here, and hailing from his 42nd goal of the season and standing as the 296th of his career, is this puck slug into the Toronto net by Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl. Scored at 12:31 of the 3rd period against the Maple Leafs in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena, the goal would serve as Edmonton’s 4th of the game in an eventual 7-4 loss with the power play marker being assisted by the other two of Edmonton’s 100+ point players, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (50) and Connor McDavid (72). he “Official Goal Puck” features the Maple Leafs logo on the obverse with the NHL shield found on the opposite side while tape has been added along the side that reads “EDM #4 - #29 – 11/3/23 – Per 3” with all the notations written in black ink. Sporting a Real Sports hologram affixed over side, the puck shows light surface wear with abrasions present over both sides and is housed in a Maple Leafs holder that includes a Leafs COA that lists all the particulars.
