Originally selected 49th overall by the Los Angeles Kings at the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Mike Cammalleri would go on to play 15 seasons of hockey in the NHL with five (5) different teams including Los Angeles, Calgary, Montreal, New Jersey and Edmonton. Hailing from a season that saw him pot 26 goals and 50 points in 65 games played, up for grabs here is this “1910-11” Montreal Canadiens Centennial Set 1 alternate captain’s jersey worn by Cammalleri on November 10th, 2009 against his old club, the Calgary Flames. Sporting a size “52” flag tag affixed to the inner collar, a handwritten number “1” for set 1 is found within the outline of the Reebok logo that adorns the back neckline. A classic tie-neck style garment that is accented at the collar with an NHL shield patch, the front of the jersey is decorated with Canadiens circa 1910-11 style team crest in tackle twill with embroidered details while the alternate captain’s “A” is sewn over the left breast and the Canadiens centennial patch sits over the right shoulder. Having had Cammalleri's number “13” sewn to the sleeves and verso in single layer white twill letters, “Cammalleri” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Having been worn in just a single contest, the jersey remains in beautiful condition with no discernible game-wear being present. Sporting a Canadiens team tag numbered “A01931” sewn inside the rear hem, the jersey is accompanied by a matching LOA signed by former equipment manager Pierre Gervais. Also included is a separate hologram, originally attached to the jersey, with numbers matching the hologram on the LOA.
