Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
A product of Harvard University in the NCAA who was drafted 66th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2016, Adam Fox never suited up for the Flames, instead having his rights traded to the Carolina Hurricanes and then the New York Rangers, who finally signed the young D-man that would go on to win the James Norris Trophy in 2021 after a season in which he put up 47 points in 55 games played patrolling the Rangers blue line. Offered here, we present this autographed rookie patch card of the 2017 World Junior Championship gold medalist from Upper Deck's high-end 2019-20 The Cup release. Featuring an image of Fox at the top of the card on the front, a red and blue coloured swatch cut from one of his Rangers game-worn jersey has been embedded near the bottom of the card on the front below his bold blue ink autograph that displays well despite a touch of smudging near the beginning. Decorated with silver foil accents throughout the front of the card, a serial number reading "242/249" is found at the top left hand corner. Existing in raw ungraded form, the card is viewed as being in the condition range of EX-MT to NM or better with just light surface wear in a couple of spots being observed as well as very light touches of wear to all four (4) corners on the front. A beautiful card from one of the best in today's version of the National Hockey League, don't allow your collection to go without this one!
