A classic survivor from just before the start of the junk wax era of cards, up for grabs here is this sealed unopened wax pack of cards hailing from O-Pee-Chee’s 1986-87 hockey release. Sporting a checklist of 264 cards, the assembly is led by the coveted first year cardboard of Canadiens goalie phenom, Patrick Roy, who had already placed a Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe Trophy in his collection when his rookie cards were released to the public. Featuring other possible rookie examples of Wendel Clark and John Vanbiesbrouck, the second-year card of Mario Lemieux and desirable examples of Wayne Gretzky are also possible. Having earned a grade of MINT 9 from PSA after its inspection, the pack displays with no obtrusive flaws that are worth pointing out while the card of New York Rangers defenceman Tom Laidlaw can be made out on the reverse. Unopened pack aficionados will want to seriously consider this wondrous opportunity, with the PSA holder housing the tempting showing some scratches and scuffs over both sides worth mentioning. Displaying the original .35 cent purchase price over the wrapper that holds 15 cards and a stick of gum, unopened pack aficionados will want to seriously consider this wondrous opportunity, with the PSA holder housing the tempting offering showing some scratches and scuffs over both sides worth mentioning.
