Born in the Czech Republic and representing his country on numerous occasions throughout his career, Tomas Vokoun would win IIHF World Championship gold twice in both 2005 and 2010. Playing in exactly 700 games over the course of his NHL career with 383 of them happening as a member of the Nashville Predators, offered here is this Preds jersey worn by the goalkeeper during the 2003-04 regular season and playoffs that has been photo-matched. Made by CCM, both “Goalie Style” and size “58” tags are affixed to the inner collar while CCM and NHL shield logos are seen over the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Decorated over the front with a Predators team crest in layered tackled twill with embroidered details as well, matching alternate logo patches reside over both shoulders. Vokoun’s number “29” has been sewn to both sleeves and verso in dual layer tackle twill numerals while “Vokoun” has been spelt out in single layer white letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Showing moderate game-wear via puck marks over the body and both sleeves along with a couple of light yellow coloured liquid stains under the team crest, additional wear is observed through a pairs of light stick marks, one over each sleeve, some pilling near the left cuff, a yellow coloured board paint transfer under the reverse number “2”, some fabric pulls/frays, most of which are seen over the satin silver material on the arms and a small unrepaired cut near the right side collar bone. Showing a team tag that denotes the jersey as a 2003-04 set #3 offering sewn inside the rear hem, a MeiGray tag numbered “B05051” is sewn alongside it with the company’s population report describing the jersey as a “White 3rd Set Regular Season / Playoffs” offering. Accompanied by a matching LOA, the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #50883239 (April 10th, 2004 vs Detroit – WCQF Game 2) to multiple puck marks over the front and left forearm of the jersey.
