Having roots in the United States dating all the way back to the middle of the 18th century, baseball has firmly cemented itself as “America’s Pastime” in the many years since then and has given sports fans some amazing moments along the way. Knocking it out of the park and enabling you to bring the game home in many forms is this lot consisting of vintage baseball based games totaling 17 dating between the 1950s and 1990s. Headlining the group, in terms the oldest game present, is “Lidstrom’s Baseball” from the late-1930s/early-1940s. Other games included are; two copies of Tudor’s “Electric Baseball” from the late-1950s/early-1960s, Gotham’s “Magnetik Baseball” from 1954, “Peg Baseball” by Parker Brothers from 1961, “Sure Shot Baseball” from 1970, “Hit ‘N Run” from 1976, “Super Baseball” from the Montreal Expos that was released in 1979, “Classic Major League Baseball Board Game 1st Edition” from 1987 (Still sealed), “Classic Major League Baseball Board Game 2nd Edition” from 1989 (x4 copies with one still sealed) “Baseball Card Game” from 1989, “Baseball Mania” from the late-1980s, Topps “Baseball Coins” from 1990, and “Pitch ‘N Play” from 1991. The boxes vary in condition with most remaining good and only showing light wear with same able to be said about the pieces on the inside while some do show heavier use and wear.
