A product from the University of Maine’s highly respected NCAA men’s hockey program where he played for three seasons, Jeremy Swayman’s name was called by the Boston Bruins at the 2017 NHL Entry Draft when they made him the 111th overall pick. A bronze medalist with Team USA at the 2018 World Junior Championships, up for grabs here is this photo-matched Bruins third jersey worn by Swayman during his rookie season of 2020-21 including for his first NHL shutout on April 16th, 2021 vs the New York Islanders. Made by Adidas, a band displaying “Made in Canada” and a size “60G” designation appear along the inner collar with NHL and Adidas crests found over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a large “B” crest reminiscent of what the B’s wore during the late-1940s and early-to-mid-1950s, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Swayman’s number “1” in yellow-over-white tackle twill numerals with “Swayman” spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate on the upper back. Showing moderate but good game-wear, puck marks are seen throughout the right sleeve and front with a small unrepaired hole seen at the front hem’s right side as well. Regarding the aforementioned photo-match, the jersey is matched to Getty Image #1232349864 (April 16th, 2021 vs New York – Swayman’s 1st NHL Shutout) to the various puck marks on the right sleeve. A MeiGray tag numbered “T02032” is sewn inside the reverse hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Third Set 2 – 1st Career NHL Shutout” specimen. A matching LOA will accompany.
