Drafted 223rd overall by the Philadelphia Flyers at the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, Chris Herperger's National Hockey League career saw him play in a total of 169 NHL games over the course of his career with Chicago, Ottawa and Atlanta before heading overseas and playing over 300 games at the highest level in Germany. Offered here, is this Ottawa Senators third jersey worn by Herperger during his lone season with the club in 2001-02. Made by Koho, both size “58” and “Made in Canada” labels are affixed to the inner collar while an Koho logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline and the NHL shield has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Senators team crest that includes both textured and embroidered details, the shoulders have been accented with matching alternate logo crests. Having had Herperger's number “33” sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer white-over-red tackle twill numerals, “Herperger” is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks are observed over the front, reverse and both sleeves which also show board burns as do both shoulders. Additionally, coloured board paint trasnfers are found over both sleeves while a team repair is present over the right arm as well. With light pilling along the front hem and interior of the piece, a matching Senators COA will accompany the piece.
