Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Guarding the creases of three different NHL clubs throughout his career, goaltender Clint Malarchuk ended his tenure in the IHL, and later turned to coaching. From his time in Fredericton while under contract to the Quebec Nordiques, we have a signed Express jersey worn by the Grand Prairie native in 1982-83. Sporting the colours of the Nords, a label with "48" sizing is affixed to the collar, with with a loop-style fight strap. Featuring a tackle twill team crest, "35" in heat pressed numerals reside over the sleeves and verso, with matching Nordiques crests to each shoulder. Malarchuk has signed the just above the fight strap, and we should also note a former longer nameplate. There is some minor staining over the front, with the sleeve and verso numbers peeling heavily. An LOA will accompany.
