Inducted into the Czech Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in 2019, Martin Rucinsky had a long career in professional hockey which included dressing for eight different NHL clubs while also representing the Czech Republic on numerous occasions. From his time in The Big Apple, we have a New York Rangers Vintage jersey worn by Rucinsky in 2003-04, specifically in the Feb 2, 2004 match vs Vancouver (won by the Rangers 4-3, Rucinsky earned an assist in the game). Styled after the jerseys worn by the Blueshirts in 1976-77, a label with "56" sizing is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests to the reverse hem. Styled with a Rangers shield crest, "26" is sewn to the sleeves and verso in single twill, with the "V" vintage crest to the right breast. Worn for a single contest, game-use is light, with a few faint burns to the sleeves. A MeiGray patch numbered "B10711" is affixed to the inside hem, and according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "Blue Vintage Set 2 - Worn 2/2/04 vs Vancouver" specimen. An LOA from the Rangers will accompany.
