Chicago’s 2nd round draft pick in 2004, Dave Bolland played seven seasons in the Blackhawks franchise, winning Stanley Cups with them in 2010 and 2013. Up for grabs here, is this jersey worn by Bolland during his first NHL game on October 25th, 2006 vs the Vancouver Canucks. Made by Reebok and sporting a single size “54” label affixed to the inner collar, the crests of both Reebok and the NHL shield have been added over the rear neckline and hem respectively. Styled over the front with the Blackhawks famed indigenous head crest that features beautiful chainstitched details, matching chainstitched tomahawk alternate logo crests reside over each shoulder as well. Bolland’s number “36” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer tackle twill numerals while “Bolland” has been spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Showing just light game use, board burns are seen over both sleeves while light stick marks are observed at the lower front and under the second “L” on the nameplate over the reverse. A Blackhawks team tag is sewn inside the reverse hem denoting the jersey as a “Game-Worn 2006-2007 1 of 2” specimen and is accompanied by a Blackhawks LOA. Additionally, also included with the jersey is a photo of Bolland from his 1st NHL game that he has signed and inscribed as such with a blue ink signature that displays without issue. Measuring 16” x 20” and taped to the back of black, red and black velvet mattes, the photo remains in good condition with only light wear and appears to show a match to one of the board burn near the right cuff but is not clear enough to call it a definite photo-match. An AJ Sports World hologram is affixed to the bottom right corner and is accompanied by both Blackhawks and AJ Sports World COA’s.
