Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/2/2023
A first ballot Baseball Hall of Fame inductee in 1982 that received 97.8% of the vote, Hank Aaron broke into the Major League’s in 1954, helping the Milwaukee Braves to the World Series over the heavily favored New York Yankees in 1957. Often still regarded as the true all-time home run king in Major League Baseball, up for grabs here is this copy of Aaron’s 1955 Topps second year card. Having been graded by PSA and deemed worthy of a VG-EX 4 designation, the card displays off-center bottom-to-top over both sides and minor wear to all four corners while retaining clean surfaces and beautiful colours. The PSA holder remains in excellent condition, showing just light wear through scratches and scuffs over both sides. A fantastic offering sure to enhance your vintage collection, don’t miss out on hitting a home run on this one as our lucky winning bidder!
