Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/27/2023
Going undrafted after three seasons in the WHL with the Medicine Hat Tigers, David Schlemko signed as a free agent with the Phoenix Coyotes in 2007, and dressed for six different NHL clubs throughout his career. From his lone season in Alberta, where he saw action in 19 games, we have a Calgary Flames third jersey worn by the Edmonton native in 2014-15. Featuring a size “56” label affixed to the inner collar with "3" handwritten, crests for the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and back necklines respectively. Styled over the front with the classic Flames team crest in layered tackle twill, the sleeves and verso have “3” sewn in white-over-gold tackle twill, with “Schlemko” across the affixed nameplate in matching style. The jersey sports light game-use with a stick mark and small stain to the team crest, with a few additional very small stains near the left breast. The team patch resides on the inside hem.
