Placed on waivers by the Edmonton Oilers, Alex Henry was claimed by the Washington Capitals on October 24, 2002. Henry went on to play 38 games with the club. This Capitals jersey was issued for Henry's use in 2003-04, but he became the property of the Minnesota Wild on Oct 9, 2003. A label with “58” sizing and "45" handwritten is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Koho crests on the bottom hem and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the Caps tackle twill team crest that saw use for a decade from 1997 to 2007, “45” appears over the sleeves and verso in stylized, oversized numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in like-new condition. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with an LOA to accompany. A MeiGray patch numbered ""B09202" is affixed to the inside hem, and according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "Black 1st Regular Season GI" specimen. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with an LOA to accompany.
