A product of the London Knights where he won a Memorial Cup championship in 2005, Brandon Prust would play 486 NHL games over the course of his career, suiting up for Calgary, Phoenix, New York, Montreal and Vancouver over that time. Up on the block here, is this Calgary Flames jersey worn by Prust in the later part of the 2008-09 season before his trade to the Coyotes. Made by Reebok and displaying a single size “58” neck tag affixed to the inner collar, Prust’s number “29” has been handwritten in black marker within the outline of the Reebok logo that has been added over the reverse neckline. Accented with an NHL shield crest over the front neckline, the front of the jersey has been decorated with a Flames team crest in layered tackle twill while flag patches of both the Province of Alberta and country of Canada are found over the right and left shoulders of the tie-neck style garment respectively. Having had Prust’s number “29” sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals with "Prust" spelt out in dual layer tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate, the jersey has been customized with a second fight strap sewn to the interior front of the jersey. Worn for just a pair of games that resulted in 19:05 of ice time, the jersey shows no obvious signs of game wear and remains in beautiful condition. Showcasing a MeiGray tag numbered “F11025” sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Red Set 2” specimen. A matching LOA will accompany the piece.
