A product of the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League who was drafted 49th overall by the New York Rangers in 1989, Louis DeBrusk would never suit up for the club, instead being traded to the Edmonton Oilers on October 4th, 1991 in the deal that sent Mark Messier to Manhattan. Racking up 1161 PIM during his 401 game NHL career, offered here is this Phoenix Coyotes jersey worn by DeBrusk during the 2000-01 season. Made by Koho, partially sewn over “Made in Canada” and size “58” tags are affixed to the inner collar while a Koho logo patch graces the reverse neckline. Having had an NHL shield crest embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the jersey is decorated with a Coyotes Katchina team crest that displays with embroidered details while matching alternate logo patches have been added over each shoulder. Accented over the sleeves and verso with DeBrusk’s number “29” in dual layer beige-over-maroon tackle twill numerals, “DeBrusk” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Sporting a Coyotes team tag sewn inside the reverse hem that denotes the piece as an “Official 2000/01-3 Game Worn Jersey” offering, game-wear is exhibited via board burns over both sleeves, shoulders and hem at both hips while unrepaired cuts are present over both sleeves as well. Presenting with stick marks over the reverse number "2" and heavy stains over the front through the team crest and at the right cuff, a Coyotes LOA will accompany the piece along with a MeiGray COR.
