Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/2/2023
Concluding the 1974 MLB season just four wins behind first-place Los Angeles in the NL West, the Cincinnati Reds' Jonny Bench enjoyed one of his career best seasons, which included 108 runs scored, 33 home runs, 129 RBI and 315 total bases. Originating from the estate of Cecil Finkler, a Former International League Toronto Maple Leafs team executive, we have a ball team-signed by the 1974 Reds. A Spalding Official Chub Fenney model, 30 have signed in mixed inks, including Anderson, Perez, Bench, Morgan, Kirby, Gullet, Griffey, Rose, Kluszewski, Geronimo, Concepcion, Carroll, McEnaney, Hall and others. Many of the signatures are quite faded including Bench. The ball exhibits just light toning. A JSA LOA will accompany.
