Affectionately known throughout the league by his nickname “Bogo”, Zach Bogosian’s NHL career would begin after being drafted 3rd overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2008 after playing junior hockey in the OHL with the Peterborough Petes. A Stanley Cup champion in 2020 as a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning, offered here is this photo-matched Toronto Maple Leafs Reverse Retro program jersey worn by Bogosian during his one-year stint with the team. Based around the jerseys worn by the Buds in 1970, the Adidas made garment features a band that displays both “Made in Canada” and size “58” designations over the inner collar while both Adidas and NHL crests adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a vintage style Maple Leafs team crest that has “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered into it, matching blue alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. Having had Bogosian’s number “22” sewn to the sleeves and verso with “Holl” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate, the jersey worn for two games (January 30th vs Edmonton and February 6th vs Vancouver) according to the included Leafs LOA, exhibits light game-wear via board burns that are observed over the right elbow and a couple of fabric snags throughout as well. Showcasing two Maple Leafs team tags over the interior reverse hem including one that is serial numbered to match the accompanying LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #1231013429 (February 6th, 2021 vs Vancouver) to the board burns present near the right elbow as mentioned above.
