Drafted 34th overall by the Buffalo Sabres at the 1998 NHL Entry Draft after playing in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals and Kitchener Rangers, Andrew Peters would go on to play a total of 229 National Hockey League games in his career, all but 29 of them with the team that drafted him. A member of the Florida Panthers organization from August 20th, 2010 to October 6th, 2010, up for grabs here is this Panthers jersey issued to Peters for use during the 2010-11 pre-season. Made by Reebok and featuring a single size “58” tag affixed to the inner collar, Peters’ number “11” has been penned to the tag in marker while logo patches of the NHL shield and Reebok have been added over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled over the front with a Panthers team crest that exhibits embroidered details, matching alternate logos have been added to each shoulder. Having had Peters’ number “11” sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer tackle twill numerals, “Peters” is spelt out in matching style with letters that have been sewn directly to the top of the back. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in excellent condition and shows no signs of game-use while light stains are observed over the front hem and near the left cuff.
