Guarding the crease of the OHL’s Barrie Colts for a trio of seasons, netminder Michael Hutchinson also saw action in the AHL before making his NHL debut with Winnipeg, in 2013-14. The 2020-21 NHL season would be Hutchinson’s third in Toronto where he served as backup, playing in 8 contests. This photo-matched jersey was first worn by the Barrie native on Jan 26th (vs Calgary) and Jan 28th (vs Edmonton), displaying the George Armstrong honourary patch to the right breast, with the patch removed for the Feb 10th game vs Montreal. “58G” sizing appears across the Adidas collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests to the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring the club’s famous vintage style team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, “30” appears over the sleeves and verso in single twill, with residue remaining from the George Armstrong patch to the right breast. Showing light use, there are a few puck marks to the front and sleeves, with some washed-out red paint transfer to the right elbow and lower reverse. Getty Image #1305877365 (March 4, 2021) has been matched to the dark mark over the right shoulder, while Getty Image #1304947190 (March 1, 2021) has been matched to the dark mark over the right shoulder, with the dark mark on the left shoulder showing as well. A Catstitch label is affixed to the fight strap, with a team LOA to accompany.
