A bone crushing blueliner who was drafted 9th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2003, Dion Phaneuf enjoyed an NHL career that spanned 1048 games between Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Los Angeles while also representing Canada at all levels throughout his career. Up for grabs here, is this Maple Leafs third jersey worn by Phaneuf during the 2011-12 season. Made by Reebok and sporting a single size “58” tag affixed to the inner collar, NHL and Reebok logo patches have been added over the front and reverse necklines of the tie-neck garment respectively. Decorated over the front with a vintage style Maple Leafs team crest in a felt material that has “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered into it, Phaneuf’s number “3” has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in single layer white felt numerals while “Phaneuf” has been spelt out over the affixed matching nameplate in matching style. Accented over the left breast with the distinguished captain’s “C”, the jersey exhibits just light game-wear with a couple of light board burns over the right sleeve and a light stick mark in the white stripe of the left sleeve as well along with a few fabric snags/pulls throughout. Displaying a Leafs team tag sewn inside the reverse hem, a matching Leafs COA will accompany the piece.
