9 times out of 10 the most popular and sought after card that any player can have attached to them, rookie cards will always dominate the game and set the bar in terms of desire and value. Offered here, is this collection of PSA and Beckett graded O-Pee-Chee first year cardboard totalling eight (8) that dates between 1984-85 and 1988-89. Led by a quartet that features Brett Hull (1988-89 OPC), Cam Neely (1984-85 OPC), Bob Probert (1988-89 OPC) and Luc Robitaille (1987-88 OPC) who have all seen their coveted first year cardboard earn high-grade marks of MINT 9 from PSA, additional cards that display the same designation after their inspection by PSA’s graders include the RC’s of Rick Tocchet (1987-88 OPC) and Stephane Richer (1987-88 OPC). Rounding out the graded offerings are Beckett graded examples of Vincent Damphousse (1987-88 OPC) and Claude Lemieux (1987-88 OPC) who have both been deemed worthy of a near perfect 9.5 GEM MINT designation. Adding to the appeal of each card, all the holders that they are housed in remain in good condition with just light scratches and scuffs over some worth noting. Lastly, a raw ungraded copy of Steve Yzerman’s 1984-85 OPC rookie card is included with the collection. Falling in the condition range of VG to VG-EX, the card shows toning over the front with wear to all four corners that includes dings to both top points as well as the bottom left on the front. Showing with 60-40 centering left-to-right on the front and right-to-left on the reverse, a crease is observed on the back side extending from the end of the write up to the bottom edge.
