The 2010 NHL Entry Draft’s 3rd overall pick by the Florida Panthers, defenceman Erik Gudbranson spent the first five years of his National Hockey League career in the sunshine state. Up on the block here, is this jersey issued to Gudbranson during the 2013-14 season. Made by Reebok with a single size “58” tag affixed to the inner collar, the crests of the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a textured Panthers team crest that features embroidered details, the 20th anniversary patch worn that season by the organization is found residing over the right breast. Gudbranson’s number “44” is found sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual-layer tackle twill numerals with “Gudbranson” spelt out across the upper back in similar style letters that have been sewn directly to the jersey. Exhibiting no discernible wear, the piece remains in beautiful condition and is accompanied by a Panthers COA that sports a Fanatics Authentics hologram with a matching one affixed to the underside of the fight strap on the interior. Of note, while the COA lists the jersey as “game-used” the lack of wear and the presence of the factory date stickers on the inner hip tag and inside the fight strap leads us to believe it was issued to Gudbranson but never worn.
