A grouping of vintage lumber totalling six (6) is offered here with the included examples hailing from an era that dates between the late-1970s to the mid-1990s. Led by the oldest twig, that of Sher-Wood PMP 5030 used by Andre Savard during the 1979-80 season while a member of the Buffalo Sabres, the stick shows a date stamp of “13 FEV. 1979” near the heel on the backside with large cracks running up the shaft found starting in the same area. Other sticks present include a Victoriaville Pro used by Dave Burrows with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the late-1970s or early-1980s, a Jim Thomson Canadien CP120 used in 1983-84 with the Toronto Marlboros that has been signed over one side by the team including future NHLers Peter Zezel and Steve Thomas with the autographs displaying well, an early-1990s Victoriaville 4050 used by Brent Sutter as a member of the New York Islanders, a Cooper Reactor goalie stick used by Darcy Wakaluk in the mid-1990s as a member of the Dallas Stars and lastly, a souvenir Toronto Maple Leafs Sher-Wood stick that has been signed by members of the 1993-94 squad including Zezel once again with all the signatures signed in blue marker that has faded evenly leaving the signatures very much still legible. All the game-used sticks retain their original tape jobs over the handles/knob and blades with all also displaying with stamped or hand written identifiers as well. All show a varying degree of game-wear via marks/abrasions to the blades and shaft, nicks and chips with none showing breaks or flaws that make them structurally unsound unless listed above.
